About Us

Welcome to Paws & Relax Pet and Home Sitting, your trusted partners in caring for your beloved pets and home! We're Mike and Teri, a husband-and-wife team with a lifelong passion for animals and extensive experience in both pet care and home security.

As dedicated pet parents ourselves, we understand the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your "babies" are in excellent hands while you're away. Mike brings valuable professional experience from working in a Wisconsin pet store, giving him a deep understanding of animal needs and behaviors. Teri's professional background includes performing vacation home checks for the Neenah and Menasha Police Departments, ensuring your home's security is in expert hands.

Our commitment to animal welfare extends beyond our professional lives. Both of us have proudly volunteered for various animal rescues. Mike has dedicated his time to the Fox Valley Humane Association, J & R Aquatic Animal Rescue, and Little Charlotte's Rescue. Teri's extensive volunteer work includes J & R Aquatic Animal Rescue, Fox Valley Humane Association, Little Charlotte's Rescue (where she also served on the Board of Directors), Orphan Animal Rescue Shelter (OARS), and events at the NEW Zoo. We currently continue our support by hosting monthly adoption events for J & R Aquatic Animal Rescue.

I don't have many opportunities to go on vacation but Teri and Mike took excellent care of my pets while I was away. They came by daily to refresh food and water for my cats and birds, administered medication to one of the cats without issue, and kept the litter boxes clean. Mike spent time playing with the cats, which was a thoughtful touch, and the fish were fed consistently. They kept the house secure and even alerted me to a leaky kitchen faucet, drying the area with towels after they alerted us. Their attention to detail and genuine care gave me peace of mind--everything was handled with professionalism and heart.
